News from Eli Terry

October 24, 2025

Dear Eli Terry Families,
We had a great week of learning at Eli Terry! This weekend looks like perfect fall weather to enjoy picking up leaves and a little football.
Next week, we’re back to five full days of fun and learning at ET — we can’t wait!
We’re also looking forward to seeing everyone tonight at the PTO’s Pumpkin Palooza!

Diwali Celebrations

It is incredibly meaningful for our students to learn about the different holidays and traditions celebrated within our school community. These opportunities help our students build understanding, appreciation, and respect for the diverse cultures that make Eli Terry such a special place.
A heartfelt thank you to the parents who visited our classrooms to share about Diwali — the Festival of Lights. Your time, stories, and activities helped bring this beautiful celebration to life for our students and deepened their understanding of how people around the world honor light, joy, and togetherness.

Unity Day Celebration

On Tuesday, October 21st, Eli Terry School proudly celebrated Unity Day, a national event dedicated to standing together against bullying and promoting kindness, inclusion, and unity. The entire school community—students, teachers, and staff—joined in by wearing orange, the official color of Unity Day, symbolizing hope and support for a world where everyone feels valued and accepted.
