Dear Eli Terry Families,
What an exciting time to be in Connecticut! For the third time, both the UConn men’s and women’s teams are headed to the NCAA Final 4! From Alex Karaban and Braylon Mullin’s clutch 3s to Azzi Fudd and Sarah Strong’s impressive shooting and rebounding, the Huskies are on fire! Enjoy the games this weekend! Go UCONN!

Class Placement Parent Input Form is Now Open in Parent Portal

It’s hard to believe, but we will begin the class placement process in May for the 2026–27 school year. Each year, we invite families to share input about their child as a learner and the type of learning environment that best supports their success. This information helps us make thoughtful and informed placement decisions. Please note that specific teacher requests will not be granted.
The form is now open and will remain available until May 1st at 11:59 PM.

Kindergarten Registration Information

South Windsor Public Schools is excited to welcome our 2026 - 2027 Kindergarten class! Your child is about to take an exciting next step in their education. We are looking forward to the beginning of a collaborative partnership between home and school in order to provide a successful transition for both your child and your family.

The South Windsor full-day kindergarten program is available to children who are residents of South Windsor and who are (or will be) age five (5) on or before September 1, 2026.  If your child’s birthday is after September 1, 2026, and you would like them considered for kindergarten this fall, you may fill out the pre-registration form and check the appropriate box and the principal will schedule an assessment to determine if admitting your child would be developmentally appropriate.

Please visit the following link for Kindergarten Registration.
