Dear Eli Terry Families,
Thank you for your continued partnership in supporting student attendance. We are pleased to share that our overall school attendance rate is 95.3%, which reflects a strong commitment from our students and families.
Our data shows that most students are consistently attending school and staying on track. We are especially encouraged to see strong attendance across grade levels, with many students maintaining excellent daily habits.
At the same time, we continue to monitor chronic absenteeism, which refers to students missing 10% or more of the school year. While some fluctuations occur throughout the year, our goal is to ensure that every student has the opportunity to be present, engaged, and successful.
Why attendance matters:
- Each day of school supports academic growth and confidence
- Students build important relationships with peers and teachers
- Consistent attendance helps students stay on track with learning
How families can help:
- Encourage your child to attend school every day and arrive on time
- Schedule appointments outside of school hours when possible
- Reach out to the school if your family needs support—we are here to help
We recognize that there have been higher rates of illness over the past few months, and we appreciate your care in keeping children home when they are not feeling well. To help guide these decisions, please refer to the infographic below in this newsletter, which outlines when to send your child to school and when it is best to keep them home.
Thank you for your ongoing support.
Sincerely,
Mike & Kelley
