Dear Eli Terry Families,
The PTO Fun Run was a fantastic way to end our week! Our students put forth an amazing effort and ran or walked throughout their entire recess time. We also ended the day with students having the opportunity to silly string our teachers and staff, which brought lots of laughter and excitement to the celebration!
A huge thank you to our incredible PTO, all of the volunteers who assisted, and DJ Doug for helping make this year’s Fun Run such a spectacular event.
Thank you as well to the entire Eli Terry community for your fundraising efforts. Your hard work and support truly paid off. Enjoy the weekend!

Congratulations Nolan Venoutsos for receiving the Superintendent's Award!

On Monday night, Nolan was recognized as Eli Terry’s Superintendent Award recipient. This award honors a student who has distinguished themselves through characteristics such as kindness, leadership, community service, and a commitment to their school community.
Rebecca Likar shared a heartfelt speech highlighting the many reasons why he is so deserving of this recognition.
Please join me in congratulating Nolan on this well deserved award!

Celebrating Police Appreciation Day!

The students in Mrs. Conyer's class celebrated Police Appreciation Day by creating cards for all 40 South Windsor Police officers to thank them for their service and dedication to our community. To make the day even more special, Sammy, a fourth grade student's mom generously provided lunch for the South Windsor Police Department. We are grateful for the kindness and support shown to our local officers and for the strong connection between our school community and SWPD.

Kindergarten Registration Information

South Windsor Public Schools is excited to welcome our 2026 - 2027 Kindergarten class! Your child is about to take an exciting next step in their education. We are looking forward to the beginning of a collaborative partnership between home and school in order to provide a successful transition for both your child and your family.

The South Windsor full-day kindergarten program is available to children who are residents of South Windsor and who are (or will be) age five (5) on or before September 1, 2026.  If your child’s birthday is after September 1, 2026, and you would like them considered for kindergarten this fall, you may fill out the pre-registration form and check the appropriate box and the principal will schedule an assessment to determine if admitting your child would be developmentally appropriate.
