September 11, 2026

Dear Eli Terry Families,
It was a fun-filled week of learning at Eli Terry as we returned from the Labor Day weekend! Our classrooms and hallways were filled with students learning, collaborating, building relationships, and settling into their routines. It has been wonderful to see our Terriers growing more comfortable and confident with each passing day.
Thank you to our families for your continued partnership and support as we begin another great school year. We hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!

Early Release Wednesdays Start Next Week!

A reminder that Early Release Wednesdays begin this coming week and will continue through the end of December. On Early Release Wednesdays, all students will be dismissed at 12:45 p.m.
Please be sure to plan accordingly for the earlier dismissal time and discuss any changes to your child’s dismissal routine with them ahead of time. Please call the school with any questions.

Portrait of a Terrier: Being Engaged!

During September and October, our school-wide Portrait of a Terrier focus is Engaged. Next week, our Terriers will explore what it means to be curious, focused, and ready to learn. Engaged learners actively participate in their learning and ask thoughtful questions like, “How does this work?” and “What can I learn today?”
Throughout the week, students will practice keeping their eyes and ears focused during learning, actively participating, and asking thoughtful questions during lessons.

Open House is Next Thursday Night!

We are excited to welcome our students and families to Eli Terry for Open House on Thursday, September 17 from 6:30–8:00 p.m.! We will continue with our family-centered Open House format, where parents and students attend together. Teachers will prepare activities for families to participate in while visiting classrooms, giving students an opportunity to share their learning, classroom routines, and school experience with the people who matter most to them.
We look forward to a fun evening of learning, connection, and celebrating our Eli Terry community!
