Next week, we will continue our Portrait of a Terrier focus on being Engaged. After exploring curiosity last week, our focus will shift to active participation. Engaged students don’t just sit back—they listen closely, share their ideas, ask and answer questions, and actively participate in their learning.
Throughout the week, all of our students will be encouraged to share their thinking, contribute to classroom and small-group discussions, listen carefully to others, and build on their classmates’ ideas. These everyday actions help our students become active, confident participants in their learning!
