Next week, our Engaged focus will be on exploration and interests. Engaged learners are curious about the world around them, explore topics that interest them, and discover different ways to learn and share what they know.
Throughout the week, we will encourage students to think about what sparks their curiosity and how they learn and communicate best. Our younger students will be challenged to explore books and topics that interest them, while our older students will think about their strengths as learners—whether they enjoy writing, building, creating, speaking, or another way of demonstrating their learning.
Try it at home: Ask your child, “What did you learn about today that made you want to know more?”
